A General Banking Officer (GBO) at Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) plays a key role in delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring smooth branch operations. The role involves managing customer accounts, handling non-financial transactions, maintaining records, and supporting administrative and compliance functions in line with banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Operations

• Deliver efficient branch-level customer service aligned with service quality standards
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide timely resolutions
• Guide walk-in customers and promote bank products (cross-selling)

Account & Banking Operations

• Manage account opening, closing, and maintenance processes
• Perform operations such as:
  • Dormancy marking/removal
  • Stop payments
  • Statement issuance
  • Loan account processing
  • Deceased account handling
• Process all non-financial transactions accurately as per SOPs

Cash & Clearing Operations

• Support teller operations when required
• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, and cheque clearing
• Ensure daily cash balancing and reporting
• Identify and report counterfeit currency
• Maintain compliance with SBP clean note policy

Reporting & Record Management

• Maintain updated registers and records
• Prepare reports for branch management and Head Office
• Reconcile sundry and suspense accounts
• Scan and upload required documentation daily

Inventory & Administrative Support

• Manage fixed assets inventory and perform annual verification
• Act as custodian of security stationery (cheque books, ATM cards, etc.)
• Provide administrative support in coordination with Branch Manager/CSM

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution (relevant field preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant banking experience
