Job Purpose

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to building a better business and a better world. The AKAM Metro will drive customer growth, strengthen market presence, and deliver business targets through strategic account management and execution excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Drive sales growth and achieve volume targets
  • Enhance in-store visibility and competitive positioning
  • Coordinate operational execution with distributors and customers
  • Lead joint business planning and negotiations
  • Monitor financial metrics including profitability and margins
  • Manage and develop DMR teams
  • Track and deliver KPIs effectively
  • Analyze performance and optimize execution strategies
  • Collaborate with GSMs and JMs on regional strategies

Customer Development

  • Execute sales plans using company tools
  • Build and manage relationships with key operators
  • Lead negotiations within company policies and budgets
  • Ensure regular engagement with customer stakeholders
  • Conduct kitchen demonstrations to drive business growth
  • Train and develop sales teams for solution-based selling

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1–4 years of sales experience (preferably in FMCG)

Skills

  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Power BI
  • Strong market presence and execution capability
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Awareness of market and competitor insights
  • High accountability and action-oriented mindset
