Job Description
Sitara Chemical Industries Limited, a professionally managed and the largest chemical complex in Pakistan, is seeking a competent, result-driven professional to lead our Accounts & Finance function. The successful candidate will ensure robust financial governance and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Oversee end-to-end financial accounting and reporting; ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Compliance: Ensure full compliance with applicable IFRS and Companies Act 2017 requirements.
Taxation: Handle taxation matters including Income Tax, Sales Tax, Provincial Sales Tax on services, and coordination with tax authorities and consultants.
Treasury & Cash Management: Manage banking relationships, cash flow planning, working capital management, and financial arrangements.
Audit & Controls: Lead and coordinate internal and external audits; ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
Risk Management: Strengthen and monitor internal controls, risk management processes, and SOP compliance.
Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive management reports and financial insights to senior leadership.
Key Requirements
Qualification: Qualified CA / ACMA.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial role (preferably within the Chemical manufacturing sector).
Banking & Statutory: Demonstrated ability to independently manage banking operations, financial arrangements, and statutory compliance.
Technical Skills: Strong command over financial management, reporting standards, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive efficiency and maintain rigorous internal controls.
