Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Trade Operations to oversee trade finance activities and ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient processing of transactions. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong understanding of trade finance operations and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the end-to-end processing of Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and documentary collections
- Ensure strict adherence to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations and international trade standards (e.g., UCP, URDG)
- Review and authorize complex trade transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
- Monitor operational risks and enforce internal controls to maintain process integrity
- Prepare periodic management reports and regulatory submissions
- Support team development by providing training, guidance, and performance feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of trade finance products and procedures
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
