📌 Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance Chemist to support product quality and compliance across development and manufacturing processes. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high standards of product excellence.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Product Development Support
- Assist product development teams to embed quality standards from early design and manufacturing stages
Validation & Trials
- Conduct and support validation trials at site in collaboration with RD&E teams
CAPA & Issue Resolution
- Lead Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), handle escalated issues, and resolve consumer complaints
Supplier Management
- Coordinate with suppliers and third-party manufacturers (3PMs) to communicate requirements and resolve quality concerns
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Procurement, RD&E, Legal, Product Supply, Logistics, and Marketing teams
Quality Control Planning
- Develop Quality Control Plans, process maps, PFMEAs, and other quality documentation
Product Qualification
- Define product success criteria and lead product qualification processes
Pre-Commercialization
- Ensure all quality-related activities are completed prior to product launch
Project Participation
- Actively contribute to project teams, technical reviews, and quality forums
Supplier Qualification
- Lead PLQs, parts qualification, molded parts validation, and quality system assessments at supplier and 3PM facilities
Formulation Expertise
- Apply knowledge of soaps, cosmetics, toiletries, and personal care formulations to enhance and develop products
