The Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating sales operations within the assigned zone, ensuring achievement of sales targets, and managing a team of Territory Sales Managers to drive business growth.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement zonal sales strategies aligned with company revenue targets
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to cascade and achieve regional goals
- Monitor and track Territory Sales team performance against assigned targets
- Work closely with Sales Support & Marketing teams to optimize route-to-market strategies
- Analyze budget vs. actual spend and report variances
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
- Evaluate distributor performance and conduct regular field visits
- Expand market presence in untapped or underserved areas
- Support negotiations with distributors on pricing and sales agreements
- Coordinate with Marketing & QIRD teams for product performance analysis
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to Territory Sales Managers
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior
- Prepare and submit sales and performance reports to management

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Graduate (Bachelor’s degree required)
- Experience: 4–6 years of relevant sales experience (FMCG preferred)
