Job Overview

Beaconhouse Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join its Education Department. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into meaningful insights to support decision-making, improve performance, and enhance operational efficiency across departments.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Equivalent practical experience will also be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for business improvement
• Design, develop, and administer surveys ensuring accuracy and data reliability
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data for analysis and reporting
• Perform ad-hoc analysis based on departmental requirements
• Develop clear and impactful data visualizations to communicate insights effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support
• Prepare detailed reports highlighting findings and recommendations
• Maintain and update databases, dashboards, and data tracking systems
• Support research and development initiatives with data-driven insights
• Stay updated with modern tools, techniques, and best practices in data analytics

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of data visualization and report writing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data handling and querying
• Working knowledge of Python, R, SPSS, or Stata (any one preferred)
• Familiarity with survey tools such as Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, or Qualtrics
• Experience with dashboard tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio (preferred)
• Basic understanding of web-based reporting tools (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
