We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Deputy Assistant Director (NOC) to support network operations and ensure seamless monitoring of IT infrastructure. The role focuses on real-time network monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining operational efficiency through standard NOC practices.


Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in:
    • Computer Science
    • Software Engineering
    • Information Technology
    • Telecom Engineering
    • Or equivalent (HEC recognized & attested)
  • Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or network operations
  • Preferred certifications:
    • SolarWinds
    • Nagios

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network devices, servers, and communication links using NOC tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate issues as per defined SOPs
  • Maintain incident logs, reports, and shift handover documentation
  • Ensure continuous network availability and performance monitoring

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts:
    • TCP/IP
    • Routing & Switching
  • Hands-on experience with Network Monitoring Systems (NMS)
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Servers
    • Firewalls
    • WAN/LAN technologies
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Terms & Conditions

  • Position is contract-based with a 6-month probation period (extendable)
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for test/interview
  • Government/Semi-Government employees must provide a valid NOC
  • Submission of false information will lead to disqualification
  • Selected candidates must provide:
    • Medical Fitness Certificate
    • Character Certificate
  • No TA/DA will be provided
  • HEC-attested degrees must be presented at the time of interview
  • Use of electronic devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, etc.) is strictly prohibited during test/interview
