Job Purpose
The Zonal Sales Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating sales operations within the assigned zone, achieving revenue targets, and managing a team of Territory Sales Managers to ensure effective market execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement zonal sales strategies aligned with company revenue goals
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to cascade and achieve regional targets
- Monitor and evaluate Territory Sales Managers’ performance against set KPIs
- Work with Sales Support and Marketing teams to optimize route-to-market strategies
- Track zonal budgets and analyze variances between actual spend and forecasts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
- Assess distributor performance and conduct regular market visits
- Identify growth opportunities in underserved markets using market intelligence
- Support negotiations with distributors on pricing and commercial terms
- Coordinate with Marketing and QIRD teams to evaluate product performance
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to sales teams
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior
- Prepare and submit detailed sales and performance reports

Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
- Experience: 4–6 years of relevant sales experience (preferred)
