The Senior Officer – Supply Chain will be responsible for managing procurement and supply chain operations efficiently, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, vendor coordination, and compliance with organizational standards within a healthcare environment.

🎓 Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Audit, review, and support the development and implementation of purchasing processes and best practices
• Prepare comparative analysis of medical and pharmaceutical items based on price, delivery performance, and discounts to optimize costs
• Maintain and update vendor, stock, and procurement databases for accurate reporting and decision-making
• Prepare, verify, and process purchase orders and related documentation
• Coordinate hospital procurement operations to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of goods and services
• Obtain and evaluate quotations for medical items and services
• Monitor procurement trends and recommend process improvements
• Support Pharmaceutical & Therapeutic Committee in SOP development and formulary updates for medical and surgical items
• Organize and document meetings including Purchase Committee, Product Evaluation Committee, CAPEX Committee, and Condemnation Committee
• Prepare procurement comparatives and assist in budget planning and control
• Maintain complete records of purchase and work orders
• Coordinate with international suppliers for procurement of medical equipment
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or Head of Department
