The Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) for MMBL’s Branch Banking Network plays a strategic leadership role in aligning people strategies with business objectives. This position partners closely with regional leadership to strengthen workforce capability, enhance employee experience, and drive performance across the branch network.

You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring HR initiatives directly support operational efficiency, productivity, and culture transformation.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Serve as the primary HR advisor for assigned regional business units
  • Partner with Regional Business Heads and Branch Managers to address people-related challenges
  • Translate business needs into actionable HR strategies across staffing, retention, and performance

Workforce Planning & Analytics

  • Conduct workforce planning to identify manpower gaps and future talent needs
  • Analyze attrition, absenteeism, productivity, and workforce trends
  • Provide data-driven insights to support leadership decision-making

Talent & Performance Management

  • Support end-to-end performance management cycles including goal setting and performance reviews
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure timely hiring for branch roles
  • Identify skill and capability gaps and coordinate with L&D for targeted development programs

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Manage employee relations, grievances, investigations, and disciplinary matters
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, banking regulations, and internal HR policies
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Audit, and Risk teams for regulatory adherence

Engagement & Culture

  • Drive employee engagement through branch visits, surveys, and action planning
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and a positive workplace culture
  • Act as a culture ambassador for MMBL values across the region

HR Operations

  • Oversee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit processes
  • Ensure smooth execution of HR administrative workflows across branches
  • Support organizational change, digital adoption, and transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master’s degree will be preferred
  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience
  • Minimum 2–3 years in an HRBP or HR Generalist role
  • Experience in branch banking, retail, sales, or distributed workforce environments
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, HR policies, and banking regulations
