The Female Attendant (Aya) plays a vital support role in delivering quality healthcare services, particularly in maternal and child health (MCH) settings. This position focuses on assisting healthcare staff, ensuring hygiene standards, and providing compassionate care to women, mothers, and newborns.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Assist LHVs during patient examinations, deliveries, and minor procedures
• Support pregnant women and mothers during antenatal (ANC) and postnatal (PNC) care
• Assist in the care and handling of newborn babies under supervision
• Manage patient flow in ANC, PNC, and family planning areas
• Maintain cleanliness of OPD, waiting areas, labor room, and delivery tables
• Support patient movement, positioning, and general handling
• Ensure instrument cleanliness and sterilization support
• Follow proper infection prevention and control (IPC) waste disposal procedures
• Monitor patient condition and report concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain respectful, culturally sensitive behavior with patients and attendants
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• Matric (Minimum Qualification)

Experience:

• 1–2 years in maternal & child health (MCH) or healthcare settings preferred

✅ Job Requirements

• Preferably a local resident of Pishin or Killa Saifullah
• Experience in hospital, clinic, or maternity care is an advantage
• Basic understanding of hygiene and patient care practices
• Physically fit for routine healthcare support tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and respectful attitude
