Job Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Relationship Officer – Deposit Banking. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, expanding deposit portfolios, and driving sustainable liability growth through effective customer acquisition and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute customer acquisition strategies to build a strong deposit portfolio and achieve liability growth targets
• Develop and maintain CALSA / Savings Account / Term Deposit (TD) customer portfolios within defined timelines
• Achieve assigned product-wise targets on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Recruit and manage freelancers/brand ambassadors to support deposit mobilization (team size up to 25 members)
• Ensure optimal portfolio mix between CASA and Term Deposits
• Drive acquisition of fairly priced deposits to support retail growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Ensure alignment with bank policies, procedures, and internal coordination with branch teams
• Achieve daily targets for deposit mobilization and new-to-bank (NTB) account opening
• Identify customer needs and coordinate with Relationship Managers/Branch Managers when required
• Cross-sell and upsell banking products to existing customers
• Monitor competitor activity and adapt strategies to retain clients
• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure high-quality service delivery
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the line manager

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution
• Strong understanding of deposit products and banking operations
• Knowledge of CASA and banking fundamentals for portfolio growth
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, retail/consumer banking, or related fields preferred
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and target-driven mindset
