🔍 Role Overview

Step into a mission-critical role within HBL’s Core Banking Transformation Program, where data is the heartbeat of success. As Manager – Data Migration, you will lead the end-to-end migration lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and seamless transition into the target systems—on time and without compromise.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage data migration strategy, planning, and execution
• Define and implement data mapping, transformation, and cleansing frameworks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data readiness for go-live
• Design and oversee ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
• Ensure all migration activities align with cutover timelines and quality standards
• Validate migrated data to maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Work with data owners for approvals and quality assurance of transformed data
• Identify, document, and communicate data migration requirements
• Manage data de-duplication and transformation workflows
• Resolve ETL issues and exceptions efficiently
• Develop and enforce best practices, standards, and governance frameworks
• Prepare migration plans including risks, milestones, and business sign-offs
• Coordinate with PMO & Governance teams for risk management
• Provide weekly progress updates and proactively escalate issues

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a large banking environment
• Strong expertise in:

  • Strategy Development & Implementation
• Ability to clearly communicate complex data migration concepts to stakeholders
