🔍 Role Overview
Step into a mission-critical role within HBL’s Core Banking Transformation Program, where data is the heartbeat of success. As Manager – Data Migration, you will lead the end-to-end migration lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and seamless transition into the target systems—on time and without compromise.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data migration strategy, planning, and execution
- Define and implement data mapping, transformation, and cleansing frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data readiness for go-live
- Design and oversee ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Ensure all migration activities align with cutover timelines and quality standards
- Validate migrated data to maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Work with data owners for approvals and quality assurance of transformed data
- Identify, document, and communicate data migration requirements
- Manage data de-duplication and transformation workflows
- Resolve ETL issues and exceptions efficiently
- Develop and enforce best practices, standards, and governance frameworks
- Prepare migration plans including risks, milestones, and business sign-offs
- Coordinate with PMO & Governance teams for risk management
- Provide weekly progress updates and proactively escalate issues
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field
💼 Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a large banking environment
