🌱 Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Manager Horticulture to oversee and maintain all landscaping and green spaces within the hotel premises. This role ensures exceptional aesthetic standards through effective plant care, seasonal plantation, irrigation, and pest management. The position also involves leading gardening teams, managing nursery operations, and contributing to a visually appealing environment that enhances the guest experience.


πŸ› οΈ Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and maintain high-quality landscaping across the premises.
  • Oversee routine maintenance including irrigation, fertilization, pruning, mowing, and pest control.
  • Manage parks, lawns, and outdoor spaces ensuring cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Supervise nursery operations including propagation, potting, and plant stock management.
  • Develop and implement seasonal plantation schedules aligned with climate conditions.
  • Maintain indoor plants and office greenery to enhance workplace ambiance.
  • Monitor plant health and implement pest, disease, and weed control strategies.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of gardening tools and equipment.
  • Optimize usage of water, fertilizers, and pesticides for cost-effective operations.
  • Maintain records including inventory, schedules, and chemical usage.
  • Supervise gardening staff, contractors, and labor teams.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement of plants and horticulture supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and recommend improvements for landscaping.
  • Support sustainability and CSR-related environmental initiatives.
  • Maintain organized nurseries, storage areas, and workspaces.
  • Perform additional horticulture-related duties as required.

🌼 Work Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in horticulture, landscaping, and nursery management.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in hotels, resorts, or corporate environments.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale landscapes, indoor plants, and gardening teams.

βœ… Additional Requirements

  • Proficiency in landscape design software and 3D visualization tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on aesthetics and cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and respond to operational needs efficiently.
  • Relevant certifications in horticulture or landscaping will be an advantage.
