The Sales Promotion Specialist – South is responsible for executing the Cycle Plan and driving trade marketing excellence across the assigned region. The role ensures strong in-store execution, effective merchandising, and disciplined POP (POSM) management to support sustainable business growth.
You will play a key role in strengthening retail visibility, coordinating promotional activities, and ensuring consistent execution standards across all trade channels.
📅 A Day in the Life
As a Sales Promotion Specialist, you will:

Execute and communicate monthly Cycle Plan activities to the sales team for timely and aligned implementation

Ensure effective execution of the merchandising calendar across the assigned region

Manage POP/POSM inventory, ensuring proper control, minimal ageing, and efficient utilization

Supervise and develop the zonal merchandising team, driving performance, discipline, and capability building
-
Maintain compliance through proper documentation, record-keeping, and audit readiness
-
Deliver market intelligence reports, activation updates, and competitor insights to support business decisions

Plan and execute trade activations such as roadshows, town storming, fairs, conferences, and events with proper pre/post evaluation

Conduct training sessions for merchandising teams to ensure adherence to execution standards

Manage trade assets including chillers, sampling vans, vending machines, gondolas, and display units

Oversee financial tracking and closure of imprest accounts and promotional stock transactions

Drive continuous improvement through NCE methodologies (OMP, ICE, Mystery Shopper programs)

Ensure full compliance with Safety, Security, WHO Code, and regulatory requirements

📌 Experience

2–3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales Promotion, or Merchandising

Strong understanding of customer behavior and selling processes

Proven experience in field team management and cross-functional coordination
