This role is responsible for driving accurate demand forecasting and optimal inventory management across the business. The Demand Planning Analyst will work closely with supply chain, sales, trading, marketing, and finance teams to develop data-driven forecasting strategies that ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock and preventing stockouts.

Job Description

• Utilize historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional plans, seasonal demand, and event-based impacts into forecasting models.
• Prepare ad-hoc commercial reports and provide in-depth analysis to support decision-making.
• Work closely with sales, stock, category, promotional, and marketing teams to gather market intelligence and align demand planning activities.
• Analyze inventory levels and trends across all business units to identify optimization opportunities.
• Focus on reducing excess inventory while ensuring service levels and product availability.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and key performance indicators (KPIs) across all depots, implementing corrective actions where needed.
• Continuously improve demand planning processes, tools, and methodologies, especially for seasonal and promotional forecasting.
• Identify and mitigate risks such as supply chain disruptions, market volatility, and changes in consumer demand patterns.

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree (BBA preferred in Finance / Supply Chain)
• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in demand planning / supply chain analytics

Specific Requirements

• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Strong command of spoken English
• Practical knowledge of MS Power BI for reporting and data visualization
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work onsite (12:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
