Mobilink Microfinance Bank is hiring a Banking Services Manager for its Bhalwal Branch under the Branch Operations Department. This role is ideal for experienced banking professionals who can efficiently manage branch operations, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise teams, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Operations & Compliance

• Supervise overall branch operations in accordance with bank policies and SBP prudential regulations.
• Ensure smooth execution of financial and non-financial transactions.
• Monitor internal controls, operational procedures, and SOP compliance.
• Maintain dual control procedures and ensure confidentiality of vault keys, passwords, and security codes.
• Ensure timely balancing of cash books, vaults, suspense accounts, and operational records.
• Supervise daily closing processes and verify physical vouchers with activity reports.

Team Management & Coordination

• Lead, supervise, and support branch operations staff.
• Coordinate closely with the Branch Manager to achieve operational goals.
• Ensure staff punctuality, discipline, backup arrangements, and adherence to dress code.
• Recommend staff rotation and nominate employees for relevant training programs.
• Handle HR and administrative matters related to branch employees.

Customer Service & Risk Management

• Create a customer-focused banking environment with efficient complaint resolution.
• Minimize operational risks through strong monitoring and process controls.
• Maintain proper custody and records of security items including PDCs, gold, passbooks, duplicate keys, and ATM codes.
• Observe suspicious staff activities and report concerns when necessary.

Reporting & Audit Management

• Prepare and submit MIS reports, confirmations, and operational documentation.
• Coordinate with internal, external, and SBP auditors and ensure timely compliance.
• Supervise account opening records and related banking activities.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• MBA qualification will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant banking operations experience.
