An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced sales professional to join a leading FMCG organization as an Area Sales Manager. The role focuses on driving territory sales performance, strengthening distributor relationships, and ensuring excellent market execution across assigned channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective field sales plans aligned with business and category priorities
  • Manage distributors and customers to ensure smooth sales operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment
  • Execute channel and category strategies at Point of Purchase (POP) for maximum product visibility and availability
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and demand forecasts to support business growth
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, trade standards, and safety regulations
  • Lead, coach, and motivate sales teams and distributor staff for improved performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence within the territory

Eligibility Criteria

✔ 3–5 years of experience in Sales or Marketing, preferably in the FMCG sector
✔ Strong understanding of field sales operations and distributor management
✔ Proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs
✔ Excellent leadership, analytical, and team management skills
✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
