💼 Role Summary

The Relationship Manager – Asset is responsible for managing and growing the bank’s asset portfolio through strategic client relationships, responsible lending practices, and achievement of sales targets.

This role requires strong financial understanding, customer relationship skills, and the ability to assess creditworthiness while ensuring compliance with bank and SBP regulations.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

📊 Sales & Business Growth

  • Execute approved sales and service plans to achieve growth targets
  • Develop micro-level sales strategies with branch management
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base
  • Promote and market bank loan products effectively

🤝 Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Understand client financial needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Conduct regular customer meetings and follow-ups
  • Ensure high-quality customer service with zero complaints

💳 Credit & Loan Operations

  • Evaluate customer profiles using the 5 Cs of Credit
  • Ensure accurate loan booking and verification processes
  • Conduct physical verification of clients
  • Maintain strict compliance during loan disbursement and documentation

📉 Risk & Recovery Management

  • Ensure timely loan repayments and proactive collections
  • Monitor portfolio performance and minimize default risk
  • Report any suspicious or fraudulent activity to management

👨‍💼 Team Leadership (if applicable)

  • Supervise and guide Relationship Officers – Asset
  • Train team members for effective credit assessment
  • Drive performance to meet monthly KPIs and sales targets
  • Motivate and develop team for maximum productivity

📈 Market & Strategy Development

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
  • Develop sales strategies aligned with market demand
  • Coordinate with operations for smooth loan processing

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in microfinance or banking sector
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis and sales techniques
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
