As an Area Sales Manager, you will lead on-ground indirect sales operations within your assigned territory through the franchise channel. Your focus will be on identifying market opportunities, driving revenue growth, and strengthening distribution performance.
You will play a key role in achieving sales targets, improving market share, and ensuring smooth execution of franchise and retail operations in alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities & Impact Areas
1. Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective franchise management
- Drive gross adds, First Call Activation (FCA), revenue (primary & secondary recharge)
- Promote financial services, devices, and internet product offerings
- Improve market share and business growth in assigned territory
- Execute strategic sales projects aligned with company objectives
2. Franchise & Retail Management
- Manage franchise performance, profitability, staffing, and operations
- Conduct regular market visits for insights and competitor analysis
- Ensure target communication, monitoring, and reporting
- Organize training and motivation sessions for franchise and retail staff
- Ensure compliance with PTA regulations and company SOPs
- Oversee franchise documentation and service quality (CSAT/DSAT)
3. Distribution Development
- Improve retail network performance and product availability
- Expand retail footprint to enhance market reach
- Monitor channel investments and optimize sales quality
- Strengthen service delivery across GSM and financial services
4. Project Execution
- Support and execute special projects assigned by management
- Contribute to continuous improvement in sales and distribution performance

What We’re Looking For
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business or related field)
Experience:
- Experience in sales/distribution roles within large networks
- Team leadership experience will be an advantage

- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
