🎯 Position Purpose

Ensure efficient, safe, and reliable maintenance operations by managing manpower, spare parts, and technical services in line with company standards and SOPs.

📋 Job Responsibilities

• Supervise routine and shutdown maintenance activities under the guidance of the Line Manager
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure smooth and uninterrupted equipment operation
• Identify and rectify operational faults impacting plant performance
• Plan and execute both breakdown and preventive maintenance tasks
• Develop maintenance plans for major shutdowns, especially kiln operations
• Coordinate with the Stores and PM teams for inspection of received spare parts
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards within the assigned area
• Ensure strict compliance with health & safety protocols before job execution
• Contribute to maintenance budget planning and cost control
• Evaluate team performance for increments, promotions, and approvals of leave
• Enforce discipline and recommend actions in case of misconduct
• Ensure full compliance with all HSE policies and promote a safety-first culture

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma / Matriculation from a recognized institute
• Experience Requirements:
  • Matriculate: Minimum 11 years
  • Diploma Holder: Minimum 5 years
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum 1 year
• Prior experience in the cement industry is mandatory

⚙️ Key Skills & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of health & safety practices and PPE usage in industrial environments
• Understanding of safety protocols for major mechanical operations (especially feeding area)
• Ability to perform risk assessments for mechanical jobs
• Proficiency in root cause analysis
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Effective communication and team coordination skills
