National Bank of Pakistan is hiring passionate and experienced professionals for the position of General Banking Officer (OG-III) in its Aitemaad Islamic Banking division. This opportunity is ideal for banking professionals who have strong expertise in branch operations, customer service, regulatory compliance, and Islamic banking practices. The role focuses on ensuring smooth day-to-day branch operations, maintaining operational accuracy, managing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with SBP and Shariah regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily branch operational activities and ensure regulatory compliance
• Handle account opening processes within defined turnaround time (TAT)
• Process inward/outward clearing and inter-branch transactions
• Monitor branch GLs, vault balancing, ATM balancing, and suspense accounts
• Ensure compliance with banking laws, SOPs, KYC/AML, and Shariah guidelines
• Resolve customer operational complaints efficiently
• Maintain operational records, reports, and audit compliance
• Ensure high-quality customer service with minimal processing errors

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Graduation from an HEC-recognized institution
• Preference for candidates with Master’s degree or Islamic Banking certification
• Minimum 1 year of banking experience including 6 months in branch operations
• Good understanding of branch operations, SBP regulations, and general accounts
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong communication skills
