Job Purpose

Unilever is seeking a Manager – Group Financial Accounting to play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting. This position is ideal for a finance professional with strong Record-to-Report (R2R) expertise who is passionate about driving financial integrity, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with senior leadership and global teams to strengthen financial controls and support strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements
  • Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
  • Manage audit coordination, including audit committee and board reporting packs
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting policies and local statutory laws
  • Review and manage intercompany transactions and transfer pricing compliance
  • Oversee bank reconciliations, internal controls, and control self-assessments
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency in finance operations
  • Strengthen internal control frameworks aligned with global standards
  • Support special projects including M&A, ESG initiatives, and transformation programs
  • Mentor and manage team members, fostering growth and performance excellence
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across finance functions

What You Need to Succeed

Experience & Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in financial accounting or related roles
