📍 Location: Mianwali, Punjab, Pakistan

The role is responsible for driving environmental sustainability initiatives across the plant while ensuring strict compliance with Environmental Quality Standards and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will coordinate with Environmental Protection Agencies (EPAs), oversee environmental reporting, and support ESG and ISO compliance frameworks to promote a safe and sustainable operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HODs and concerned departments to address housekeeping and environmental compliance issues.
• Monitor and report daily stack emissions and fugitive dust status during morning operational meetings.
• Evaluate environmental aspects, impacts, and mitigation measures across departments to ensure sustainable operations.
• Conduct monthly housekeeping and environmental audits and submit detailed reports to management and the central environment team.
• Maintain records for ISO 14064-1 certification and calculate the plant’s carbon footprint.
• Assist in ESG reporting and environmental disclosures in line with SECP regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with Environmental Protection Agencies (EPAs) for approvals, NOCs, and compliance matters.
• Coordinate with environmental consultants regarding IEE, EIA, GEA, and environmental audit requirements.
• Respond to environmental compliance queries from regulatory authorities and consultants.
• Monitor and report environmental approval status to senior management.
• Address and document public environmental concerns in coordination with relevant departments.
• Analyze emissions data against NEQs and Punjab Environmental Quality Standards (PNEQs).
• Facilitate third-party environmental audits and review monitoring reports before submission.
• Implement water conservation initiatives and monitor plant water consumption limits.
• Review monthly environmental reports from WHR, Mining, and Production departments.
• Plan and execute quarry rehabilitation projects in collaboration with Mining and Administration teams.
• Organize public hearings related to environmental approvals and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide environmental compliance support to other business units on legal and technical matters.
• Review and update departmental SOPs and JDs annually to ensure ISO 14001 EMS compliance.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering.
• 02 to 04 years of relevant professional experience in environmental management and compliance.

Specific Requirements

• Willingness to travel to EPA offices and various business units as required.
• Strong understanding of HSE policies, environmental regulations, and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
