Job Overview

National Bank of Pakistan, "The Nation’s Bank", is seeking talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals to join its Human Resource Management team. The bank aims to support the financial well-being of the nation while driving sustainable growth and inclusive development.

The position of Senior HR Officer (OG-II / OG-I) will support and strengthen HR functions while acting as a strategic HR business partner across organizational functions.

Reporting To

Regional HR Business Partner

Educational / Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent qualification from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by HEC Pakistan
  • Candidates having a Master's degree and/or HR certifications will be preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in similar roles within the financial sector will be preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective team collaboration abilities
  • Understanding of HR functions and practices
  • Customer/service-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and support HR functions including:
    • Talent acquisition and management
    • Learning and development
    • Performance management and rewards
    • Compensation and benefits
    • Employee relationship management
    • Organizational effectiveness
    • HR governance and compliance
  • Support and coordinate with business functions to strengthen HR relationships
  • Assist in implementing HR initiatives and projects
  • Monitor and update HR systems and databases to ensure data accuracy
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related queries and requests
  • Prepare HR-related reports as required
  • Stay updated with modern HR practices and market trends
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors
