We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to support factory operations by ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient performance of automation, control, and electrical systems. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining strict standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

A Day in the Role

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and support PLC, SCADA, HMI, and other industrial control systems
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of automation equipment
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of automation and control projects
• Improve production line efficiency through process optimization and control improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and engineering standards
• Train operators and maintenance technicians on automation systems and best practices
• Apply TPM practices and use digital/engineering tools (e.g., NSAT, NIMS, AMM, etc.)
• Manage critical automation spare parts inventory and system backups
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform root cause analysis of technical issues

What Will Make You Successful

• 1–3 years of experience in automation, controls, or maintenance engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and industrial communication networks
• Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance systems, or reliability engineering practices
• Experience in equipment commissioning, start-up, or technical projects
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and contractors
• Self-driven mindset with strong focus on KPIs and results
