Overseas Pakistanis’ Foundation (OPF) is inviting applications for the position of Company Secretary. The role requires a highly experienced professional responsible for corporate governance, statutory compliance, board coordination, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining governance standards and supporting board operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, including the Companies Act 2017 and SOE Governance frameworks.
- Organize and manage Board of Governors (BoG) meetings and committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Serve as the communication bridge between the Board of Governors, management, and stakeholders.
- Maintain statutory records, legal filings, and corporate documentation as required under applicable laws.
- Provide legal and administrative support related to corporate governance matters.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of corporate information to relevant authorities.
- Advise the Board on legal, regulatory, and governance matters concerning OPF operations.
- Ensure board procedures are implemented according to applicable regulations and governance best practices.
Required Qualification
Candidates must meet one of the following educational criteria:
- Member of a recognized body of professional accountants; OR
- Member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries; OR
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Law, or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Company Secretary.
