🧾 Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, SOP compliance, and delivering exceptional guest service within a luxury hospitality environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Oversee complete restaurant operations as the outlet in-charge
Ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service delivery
Maintain presence during peak hours to supervise service quality
Personally welcome and see off guests to enhance experience
Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally
Maintain regular guest profiles for personalized engagement (birthdays, preferences, etc.)
Supervise buffet setups, décor, and overall restaurant presentation
Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the outlet and all equipment
Lead staff training, grooming, and performance supervision
Enforce strict SOP compliance to maintain service excellence
Coordinate with Chef regarding guest feedback on food quality
Conduct daily pre-service briefings for staff
Manage staff duty rosters and scheduling
Ensure timely clearance and readiness of dining areas
Record operational issues, special events, and discrepancies; recommend improvements
Liaise with Housekeeping, Engineering, Laundry, and Front Office for smooth operations
Present bills/cheques professionally and ensure accuracy
Assist in preparing annual capital and operational budgets
