About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Corporate Media Relations & Public Affairs Manager to lead corporate media engagement and public affairs initiatives across Southern Pakistan, including Sindh and Balochistan, while maintaining strong relationships with national institutions and key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in media relations, corporate communications, government affairs, and stakeholder management, with the ability to strengthen corporate reputation, influence public perception, and support advocacy initiatives at both provincial and national levels.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Media Relations
- Lead nationwide corporate media relations activities and serve as the primary point of contact for print, electronic, and digital media.
- Collaborate with Public Affairs and Corporate Communications teams to maintain a positive corporate narrative.
- Manage external PR agencies for media engagement, reputation management, and crisis communication.
- Build and strengthen relationships with national and regional press clubs.
- Support Head Office advocacy and communication initiatives with partner organizations and industry associations.
- Coordinate communication efforts with industry bodies and business networks to enhance corporate visibility and reputation.
Public Affairs & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the focal point for engagement with national institutions and business councils.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, policymakers, and institutional stakeholders.
- Monitor emerging issues and public sentiment to proactively manage reputation and stakeholder concerns.
- Engage with provincial governments, regulatory authorities, and local administrations in Sindh and Balochistan.
- Support policy advocacy and administrative matters related to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Human Resources, and other business functions.
- Lead stakeholder engagement for sustainability, community development, and Creating Shared Value (CSV) initiatives.
- Represent senior leadership and Head Office functions at public forums, industry events, and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Competencies
✔ Strong background in Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, or Corporate Affairs
✔ Proven experience in media relations and stakeholder management
✔ Expertise in crisis communication and reputation management
✔ Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
✔ Experience working with non-profit organizations, industry associations, or public institutions
✔ Strong project management and community engagement capabilities
✔ Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across government, media, and business sectors
✔ Proficiency in digital communication platforms, online publishing tools, and IT applications
✔ Fluency in English and local language(s)
Preferred Experience
- Crisis Management and Change Management exposure
- Government relations and policy advocacy experience
- Sustainability and social impact project management
- Engagement with chambers, councils, and business associations
