We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized GRN Officer – Store Warehouse to support warehouse operations by ensuring accurate receiving, verification, and recording of incoming inventory. The ideal candidate will have experience in goods receiving, inventory control, ERP systems, and warehouse documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Prepare and process Goods Received Notes (GRNs) accurately and on time.
- Verify product quantities, quality standards, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and store teams to resolve receiving discrepancies.
- Report damaged, excess, short, or incorrect deliveries to relevant departments.
- Update inventory records in ERP/WMS systems and maintain stock accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of GRNs, invoices, and receiving documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures and receiving policies.
- Assist in stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Monitor storage conditions and ensure proper handling of products.
- Coordinate with suppliers and transporters regarding delivery-related issues.
- Generate receiving and inventory transaction reports as required.
- Support warehouse and store operations to maintain accurate stock records.
- Follow health, safety, and warehouse operational standards at all times.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Diploma or certification in Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, or Logistics will be considered an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, store, logistics, or retail operations.
- Hands-on experience in GRN processing and goods receiving procedures.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and stock control processes.
- Experience in FMCG, retail, supermarket, hypermarket, distribution, or warehouse environments preferred.
- Familiarity with managing high-volume inventory transactions.
