We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Accounts Receivable to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing receivables, payment reconciliations, collections, and financial reporting across e-commerce operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, timely collection of outstanding payments, and smooth coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts receivable activities and monitor customer payments.
- Reconcile online sales transactions, payment gateway settlements, and marketplace collections.
- Identify and resolve payment discrepancies and transaction-related issues.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Assist in month-end closing activities by providing accurate receivable reports and analyses.
- Coordinate with e-commerce operations, finance teams, payment service providers, and marketplace partners to ensure seamless financial processes.
- Strengthen financial controls and support continuous process improvements within receivables management.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- ACCA Trainee / ACCA Affiliate or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable and E-Commerce Finance Operations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, collections, and account reconciliations.
- Understanding of e-commerce financial operations, including payment gateways, online transactions, and marketplace settlements.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and implement timely resolutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with effective documentation, reporting, and follow-up capabilities.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
