Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused General Banking Officer to join its Branch Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer services, handling branch banking operations, processing non-financial transactions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day branch activities while maintaining compliance with banking policies and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Branch Operations

• Deliver efficient customer support and maintain high service quality standards.
• Handle walk-in customers professionally and guide them regarding banking products and services.
• Address customer complaints and provide timely resolutions within defined TAT.

Account Management

• Manage account opening processes and related operational activities.
• Process account closures, dormancy marking/removal, stop payment instructions, SOA issuance, deceased account marking/removal, and level migration.
• Support loan account opening and closing procedures for Core Banking and JazzCash customers.

Banking Transactions & Reporting

• Perform all non-financial transactions accurately according to SOPs.
• Prepare operational reports for submission to branch management and Head Office.
• Process clearing instruments and manage return entries efficiently.
• Maintain records, registers, and reconciliation of sundry and suspense accounts.

Cash & Teller Operations

• Work as backup teller when required.
• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, TT/FT transactions, and outward clearing instruments.
• Ensure end-of-day cash balancing and compliance with SBP clean note policies.
• Identify and report counterfeit currency notes.

Administrative & Compliance Duties

• Maintain branch fixed asset inventory and reconcile asset records annually.
• Act as joint custodian of security stationery, cheque books, ATM cards, keys, and official stamps.
• Ensure scanning and uploading of SS cards on daily basis.
• Support branch administrative operations in coordination with branch management.

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in Gold Loan assessments.
• Maintain accurate teller and vault reports.
• Perform any additional task assigned by line management.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant banking experience.
• Strong communication, customer handling, and operational management skills.
• Knowledge of branch banking operations and banking SOPs will be preferred.
