We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Officer – Business Controls to join our Islamic Banking team. The ideal candidate will support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance frameworks to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory adherence across business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate business processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in identifying operational, compliance, and control risks within business operations.
  • Support the implementation of control frameworks and process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and control assessments to strengthen governance standards.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and management information related to business controls.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address control gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely escalation of control issues and support resolution efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, reviews, and regulatory inspections.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Relevant certifications in Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Controls, or Audit will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in banking, Islamic banking, risk management, compliance, audit, or operational controls will be preferred.
