- Epidemiology or a related field
- Diploma or Certification in Healthcare Quality
Job Summary
The Deputy Manager β Quality Management will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality standards across all clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital. The role involves assisting with national and international accreditation initiatives, ensuring compliance with quality management systems, monitoring performance indicators, and contributing to continuous quality improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities
A. Quality Management & Regulatory Compliance
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Support the implementation of quality standards, policies, and procedures across hospital departments.
- Monitor quality indicators and performance metrics to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Participate in internal audits, assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
B. Employee Development & Performance Enhancement
- Support the planning and execution of staff training programs related to quality improvement methodologies and patient safety practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the organization.
- Assist departments in understanding and implementing quality-related requirements.
C. Risk Management
- Provide support for the maintenance and effective utilization of the Incident Reporting System.
- Analyze reported incidents and identified risks to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in developing process improvement strategies to reduce risks and enhance organizational performance.
- Prepare risk analysis reports and follow-up documentation.
D. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze data related to patient outcomes, safety events, quality indicators, and operational performance.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
- Support evidence-based decision-making through accurate data interpretation and reporting.
- Monitor trends and recommend opportunities for quality improvement.
