NBP is seeking talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals for the position of Regional IT Support Officer (OG-II / OG-I) within its Information Technology function.
Position Details
Job Title: Regional IT Support Officer (OG-II / OG-I)
Reporting To:
- Regional Manager – Technology Operations and Support
- Territory Head – RTOS
Employment Type: Contractual (3 Years, renewable at the discretion of management)
Locations:
- Faisalabad
- Hyderabad
- Jhang
- Karachi
- Multan
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline from an HEC-recognized local or international institution.
- Alternatively, Graduation with a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
- Relevant professional certifications will be preferred.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the IT field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in:
- IT Desktop Support
- User Complaint Management
- Network Support
- Experience in the banking sector will be preferred.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Understanding of Active Directory and Domain Topology.
- Ability to install and configure peripherals such as printers, scanners, biometric devices, and related hardware.
- Basic knowledge of desktop network configuration and setup.
- Understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, gateways, DNS, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with IT applications and Microsoft tools used for desktop troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for issue resolution with internal support teams.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop and network-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure desktops and laptops according to organizational standards.
- Provide on-site IT support to regional offices and branches.
- Participate in IT deployment and configuration projects across branches and regional offices.
- Support branches in extracting data from archived systems.
- Conduct inspections of IT infrastructure, including IT rooms, ATM vestibules, and inventory.
- Coordinate with IT support vendors to ensure timely resolution of end-user issues.
- Travel to other regions when required to provide IT support.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and controls on end-user devices.
- Perform any additional assignments as directed by supervisors.
