About the Role

Hoechst Pakistan is seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Governance Lead to support the Medical Affairs function by ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and governance requirements. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of medical and scientific excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support internal stakeholders and the medical team in implementing company policies, procedures, and transparency requirements.
  • Provide accurate, balanced, and scientifically sound medical information in collaboration with the Medical Affairs team.
  • Contribute to improved patient outcomes through effective communication with healthcare professionals and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop, review, update, and implement local quality documents within the Medical Affairs function in line with company standards and SOPs.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating GxP audits and follow-up activities related to CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences.
  • Preference will be given to:
    • MBBS graduates
    • PharmD graduates

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound understanding of Medical Affairs operations.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
