About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding to support high-volume recruitment operations while serving as an HR Business Partner for assigned business functions. This role requires a professional who can efficiently manage end-to-end hiring processes, build strong stakeholder relationships, support workforce planning initiatives, and contribute to employer branding programs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong sourcing expertise, workforce planning knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple recruitment and HR priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviews, assessments, offer management, salary negotiations, onboarding, and hiring closure.
  • Handle multiple recruitment requisitions simultaneously while ensuring quality and timely hiring.
  • Source talent through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, professional networks, talent databases, direct outreach, and market mapping.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical, niche, and high-volume positions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through professional communication and timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, hiring trackers, interview feedback, approvals, and offer documentation.

HR Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the HR focal point for assigned departments on recruitment, workforce planning, retention, and talent movement matters.
  • Partner with department heads and line managers to understand business requirements and talent priorities.
  • Support manpower planning and workforce requirement forecasting.
  • Ensure timely stakeholder coordination and recruitment decision-making.

Workforce Planning & Budget Support

  • Assist departments in managing approved headcount plans, vacancies, replacements, and future hiring requirements.
  • Track hiring progress against workforce plans and highlight gaps or delays.
  • Support workforce budgeting through accurate vacancy and headcount management.
  • Prepare hiring reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics for management review.
  • Anticipate and manage backfill requirements resulting from resignations, promotions, transfers, and organizational changes.

Retention & Internal Mobility

  • Support retention initiatives by identifying critical roles and replacement risks.
  • Coordinate employee transfers, rotations, internal hiring, promotions, and talent movement activities.
  • Facilitate internal mobility opportunities to support employee growth and organizational agility.

Organizational Design Support

  • Assist with organizational structure reviews and workforce optimization initiatives.
  • Support position creation, reporting-line alignment, grading coordination, and implementation of approved organizational changes.
  • Prepare presentations and analytical reports related to manpower planning, organizational design, and HR interventions.

Employer Branding & Talent Programs

  • Support Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and employer branding initiatives.
  • Assist in campus recruitment, internship programs, trainee programs, career fairs, and university engagement activities.
  • Coordinate with educational institutions and internal stakeholders to ensure successful talent development initiatives.
  • Enhance employer brand reputation through positive candidate experiences and professional communication.

Recruitment Analytics & Process Improvement

  • Develop and maintain recruitment dashboards covering hiring progress, turnaround time, aging positions, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and workforce status.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify bottlenecks, hiring risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend process enhancements for sourcing, reporting, stakeholder management, and recruitment workflows.
  • Utilize workforce data and market insights to support strategic hiring decisions.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Human Resources
    • Business Administration
    • Marketing
    • Management Sciences
    • IT / Engineering
    • Or a related discipline

Experience

  • Preferably 4–10 years of relevant experience in:
    • Talent Acquisition
    • Recruitment
    • HR Business Partnering
    • Workforce Planning
    • Related HR functions

Preferred Experience:
