Habib Bank Limited (HBL) is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join its technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate, design, and implement optimal cloud solutions.
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, modular cloud-based systems.
• Enhance and optimize existing cloud infrastructure and services.
• Educate and support internal teams in adopting new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Ensure high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and improve system performance.
• Manage cloud storage, processing, and networking services in alignment with security policies and industry best practices.
• Identify, analyze, and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Conduct regular system assessments and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Provide technical cloud support and recommendations based on business and operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in Red Hat, OpenShift, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) will be considered an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud computing and cloud infrastructure management.
• Practical experience with:
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • OpenShift
  • DevOps methodologies
  • Containerization technologies
  • Kubernetes
  • Public and private cloud platforms
