Job Summary

Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Officer – Biomedical (Supply Chain) to support the procurement and supply management of medical and laboratory equipment. The role requires effective vendor management, procurement planning, contract negotiation, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of biomedical equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the timely and accurate procurement of medical and laboratory equipment for the organization.
• Assess departmental requirements and identify procurement needs for biomedical materials and supplies.
• Prepare, review, and verify purchase orders in accordance with organizational SOPs and approved quotations.
• Ensure the availability of required materials at the most cost-effective rates and within established timelines.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and maintain effective communication with relevant departments.
• Monitor and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an updated approved vendor database.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, warranties, and after-sales support agreements with vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain procurement documentation, purchase records, and comparative statements as required.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards throughout the sourcing process.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management or Procurement.
• Experience in healthcare or hospital procurement environments.

Required Experience

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain operations, or biomedical equipment sourcing.
