📌 Role Summary

The Department Manager – Repair & Maintenance is responsible for ensuring efficient facility operations, contractor management, building safety compliance, and preventive maintenance of store infrastructure. The role ensures uninterrupted operations through timely maintenance execution and strong vendor coordination.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely execution and quality control of all contractor services
• Monitor contractor performance and address service quality issues immediately
• Manage availability of spare parts and maintenance resources
• Review, verify, and approve contractor work completion and service entry documentation
• Conduct regular building inspections and identify maintenance requirements
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulatory requirements (e.g., CDA standards)
• Oversee implementation of fire safety and industrial safety procedures
• Monitor energy consumption and prepare energy management reports
• Maintain engineering documentation, service contracts, and inspection records
• Support continuous improvement in facility efficiency and operational safety

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Intermediate qualification
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in facility management, maintenance, or engineering operations
• Strong knowledge of building systems, contractor management, and safety compliance
