Job Locations: D.G. Khan & Sialkot

As part of its strategic growth initiatives, NBP is seeking an experienced and results-driven professional for the position of Regional Executive - Inclusive Development (VP).

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/institute.
  • Candidates possessing a Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a relevant professional qualification will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of banking experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in:
    • SME Financing
    • Commercial Lending
    • Agriculture Financing
    • Credit Business
  • Regional-level experience in SME and Commercial Banking within a large commercial bank will be preferred.
  • Exposure to Trade Business will be considered an advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of local market dynamics.
  • In-depth knowledge of SME and Commercial financing products.
  • Familiarity with SBP Prudential Regulations and credit evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach toward achieving business targets.
  • Knowledge of Agriculture Financing will be an added advantage.
  • Expertise in business development, marketing, loan processing, and customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Regional Managers, Relationship Managers, and Agriculture Finance Officers to achieve sustainable business growth.
  • Develop and implement annual business strategies to achieve Agriculture, SME, and Commercial financing targets.
  • Ensure profitable business growth through client acquisition, portfolio expansion, retention, and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Monitor team performance and conduct regular review meetings to ensure achievement of business objectives.
  • Coordinate with branches, credit teams, CAD, and other stakeholders for smooth processing, approval, and maintenance of financing portfolios.
  • Structure and approve credit proposals within delegated authority while recommending larger cases to higher forums.
  • Conduct regular client visits, portfolio reviews, site inspections, and business monitoring activities.
  • Maintain portfolio quality through proactive monitoring, recovery management, and implementation of remedial measures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and service standards.
  • Monitor regional portfolios through MIS reporting and address audit observations effectively.
  • Propose promotional campaigns, partnerships, and service improvements to strengthen market presence.
  • Lead performance management, succession planning, employee development, and KPI governance across the region.
  • Provide strategic recommendations regarding product development, customer requirements, and business improvements.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Employment Type

  • Contractual position for an initial period of three years.
  • Contract renewal may be considered based on management discretion and performance.
