🎓 Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Commerce, Marketing, or related field
• Diploma/certification in Retail Management or Store Operations (preferred)
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (especially Excel & reporting tools)
• Familiarity with POS systems, ERP systems, and retail inventory processes

💼 Experience Required

• 5–8 years in retail operations (supermarket / hypermarket / grocery retail)
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong background in FMCG, merchandising, and inventory management
• Proven ability to meet sales, profitability, and operational targets
• Experience managing large retail teams and customer-facing operations
• Knowledge of stock audits, inventory control, and retail compliance

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily grocery floor operations and ensure smooth store execution
• Supervise Section Executives, Lead Section Executives, Shelf Boys, and support staff
• Maintain product availability and ensure timely shelf replenishment
• Monitor merchandising standards, displays, and promotional execution
• Ensure compliance with planograms, pricing, and promotional guidelines
• Track product freshness, expiry dates, and quality standards
• Implement FIFO/FEFO stock rotation practices
• Analyze sales performance and drive revenue achievement strategies
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, inventory, and store teams
• Conduct regular floor inspections for cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Handle customer complaints efficiently and professionally
• Reduce shrinkage, damages, and operational losses
• Support inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation activities
• Train, coach, and evaluate team performance
• Prepare operational and sales performance reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards
• Support seasonal promotions, store launches, and special campaigns
