Position Overview
National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), one of Pakistan’s leading financial institutions, is seeking dynamic, motivated, and career-oriented professionals for the position of Relationship Manager SME (OG-II) within its Inclusive Development segment. The selected candidates will be responsible for developing SME business portfolios, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the Bank’s lending and financing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, acquire, and manage SME clients to expand the Bank’s SME lending portfolio.
- Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Promote SME financing products, including working capital, trade finance, and term loans.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing SME customers.
- Conduct regular client visits and portfolio reviews to assess business performance.
- Analyze financial statements and business models to evaluate creditworthiness.
- Recommend suitable financing solutions based on customer requirements.
- Prepare credit proposals in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor portfolio risks and implement proactive mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Achieve assigned business targets, including portfolio growth and revenue objectives.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) from an HEC-recognized local or international institution.
- Candidates holding a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or related disciplines will be preferred.
- Professional certifications such as AIBP, JAIBP, or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of banking experience in Sales, Relationship Management, SME Banking, or related areas.
Age Limit
- Maximum 28 years as of the application closing date.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve business targets.
- Knowledge of SME Banking, Commercial Banking, and Credit Lending.
- Understanding of SBP prudential regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and business performance indicators.
- Customer relationship management and portfolio management expertise.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Team collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Employment Terms
- Initial contract period of 3 years.
- Contract may be renewed based on performance and management discretion.
- Selected candidates will be required to serve at their assigned posting location for a minimum period of three years.
