About the Role
Ambiance Boutique Art Hotel Islamabad is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Officer to manage procurement operations, supplier relationships, inventory coordination, and purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation abilities, analytical thinking, and hospitality industry experience to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
Educational Requirements
✅ Minimum Bachelor's Degree (2 Years) or equivalent qualification
Experience Requirements
✅ At least 3 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience in the Hospitality Industry
Key Responsibilities
- Implement purchasing policies, systems, and procedures in line with company standards.
- Source quality products and services while ensuring competitive pricing and value.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and maintain updated pricing records.
- Monitor vendor performance regarding quality, service standards, and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and quality regulations for delivered goods.
- Establish supplier agreements and contracts to secure favorable pricing.
- Research and identify new products, services, and sourcing opportunities.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and supplier developments.
- Analyze price and quantity variances to improve procurement efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Coordinate daily procurement requirements received from operational departments, including kitchen requests.
- Monitor inventory levels and inventory movement to identify discrepancies and shortages.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to forecast inventory and purchasing needs.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, payments, and stock receipts.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of required materials across hotel operations.
