About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Audit Associate to support the execution of internal audit assignments across the organization. The selected candidate will play a key role in evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, identifying operational risks, and recommending process improvements.

The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to review business processes, validate data accuracy, assess compliance levels, and contribute to strengthening governance and control frameworks. The role also involves preparing audit reports, documenting findings, and following up on corrective actions to enhance organizational efficiency and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting internal audits and compliance reviews.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and operational processes.
• Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and potential risks.
• Analyze data and perform audit testing using Excel and other reporting tools.
• Prepare audit reports with clear observations and recommendations.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective actions and audit recommendations.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving governance and operational efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

• ACCA Trainee/Affiliate or equivalent qualification in a related field.

Experience

• 3–4 years of relevant audit, compliance, or internal control experience.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of internal controls, audit methodologies, and risk assessment techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis for audit testing and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Effective communication and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
