Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Own and drive acquiring and alliances revenue targets.
  • Develop annual commercial strategies for merchant acquisition, portfolio expansion, alliance development, and pricing.
  • Maintain full profit and loss (P&L) accountability.

Strategic Alliance Development

  • Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships across retail, hospitality, food & beverage, apparel, and FMCG sectors.
  • Manage the complete alliance lifecycle, from opportunity identification to activation and performance monitoring.

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and develop the acquiring sales team.
  • Set performance targets and establish structured sales pipeline and CRM practices.
  • Drive the team to exceed commercial objectives.

Merchant Portfolio Management

  • Oversee merchant and alliance portfolios.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and implement retention strategies.
  • Increase wallet share through incentives, cross-selling, and value-added solutions.

Product & Market Development

  • Gather merchant feedback and provide insights for product enhancement.
  • Assess new business opportunities, loyalty integrations, and co-branded initiatives.

Pricing & Commercial Negotiations

  • Lead MDR and commercial pricing negotiations.
  • Monitor industry benchmarks and ensure sustainable profitability.

Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor products, pricing strategies, and partnership initiatives.
  • Recommend actionable strategies to strengthen market positioning.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to SBP regulations, Visa, Mastercard, and 1LINK requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with AML/CFT standards.
  • Report commercial risks and portfolio performance to senior management.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.

Experience

  • Minimum 7–9 years of relevant Banking or Non-Banking industry experience.

Age Limit

  • Up to 55 years (as of the application closing date).
