Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) is seeking a qualified and motivated Finance & Grant Officer to support financial management, grant administration, budgeting, reporting, and compliance activities for development projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial transparency, donor compliance, and efficient utilization of project resources.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA (Part Qualified), ICMA, CPA, or equivalent will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, grants management, or donor-funded projects.
• Experience working with NGOs, development organizations, or international donor-funded programs will be an advantage.
• Proven experience in budget preparation, financial monitoring, and grant compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project finances in accordance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Process financial transactions, payments, and reimbursements accurately and on time.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare financial reports for management, donors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with donor regulations, audit requirements, and financial controls.
• Coordinate with program teams for budget tracking and expenditure management.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
• Monitor grant utilization and ensure expenditures remain within approved budgets.
• Assist in financial analysis, risk assessment, and cost optimization initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and accounting software.
• Knowledge of donor compliance requirements and grant management procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
