Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) is seeking a qualified and motivated Finance & Grant Officer to support financial management, grant administration, budgeting, reporting, and compliance activities for development projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial transparency, donor compliance, and efficient utilization of project resources.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA (Part Qualified), ICMA, CPA, or equivalent will be preferred.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, grants management, or donor-funded projects.
Experience working with NGOs, development organizations, or international donor-funded programs will be an advantage.
Proven experience in budget preparation, financial monitoring, and grant compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project finances in accordance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Process financial transactions, payments, and reimbursements accurately and on time.
Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
Prepare financial reports for management, donors, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with donor regulations, audit requirements, and financial controls.
Coordinate with program teams for budget tracking and expenditure management.
Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
Monitor grant utilization and ensure expenditures remain within approved budgets.
Assist in financial analysis, risk assessment, and cost optimization initiatives.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and accounting software.
Knowledge of donor compliance requirements and grant management procedures.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
