Bestway Cement Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Procurement to support and streamline procurement operations across its plants. The role involves managing the procurement of Mechanical, Civil, Administration, and Marketing-related materials while ensuring timely purchasing, supplier coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Review comparative statements and prepare procurement cases for management approval.
- Generate and issue purchase orders and ensure timely dispatch to suppliers.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
- Coordinate with Plant and Finance teams to resolve post-dispatch and procurement-related issues.
- Support negotiations for high-value purchases and long-term supply agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes and vendor relationships.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and operational requirements.
Qualification & Experience
Education
- BBA or MBA with specialization in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Experience
- 02–03 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
