About the Role

Faisalabad Serena Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Night Auditor to join its Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting nightly financial audits, reconciling revenue records, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, and preparing operational reports while maintaining compliance with hotel accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Auditing & Reconciliation

• Audit daily revenue figures, folios, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Verify city ledger postings against control totals and supporting records.
• Review daily cash summaries and reconcile them with bank reports.
• Examine adjustments, rebates, paid-outs, and discounts for proper authorization.
• Reconcile taxes, departmental transfers, and revenue allocations.

Revenue Verification

• Verify room revenue through rate-check reports and auto room postings.
• Ensure all sales and payments recorded in Micros are accurately transferred to Fidelio.
• Reconcile revenues from Laundry, Dry Cleaning, Health Club, KKG, and other outlets against manual summaries.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between operational and financial reports.

Night Audit Operations

• Perform specialized night audit procedures in Fidelio/Micros systems.
• Execute end-of-day hotel system closures and night audit processes.
• Monitor guest ledger balances and review unusual account activities.
• Verify front office closures, folios, receipts, allowances, rectifications, and paid-outs.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare daily operational and financial reports.
• Generate management reports including Early Bird, Food Cover, Beverage Cover, Discount Analysis, and other business reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support internal audit requirements.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Income Auditor.
